Connection Recovery Support Group
Living with a mental illness and wanting more support? NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a free, peer-led support group for adults living with mental illness. Our facilitators are individuals who live with a mental health condition trained to ensure the safety and confidentiality of each support group session. Find strength in shared experiences; reject societies stigmatization; embrace humor as healing; aim for better coping skills; join our weekly support group. Light refreshment provided. NAMI Connection is a recovery support group program for adults living with mental illness. This group provides a place that offers respect, understanding, encouragement, and hope. Each group meets weekly for 90 minutes, is offered free of charge, and follows a flexible structure without an educational format. All groups are confidential so that participants can share as much or as little personal information as they wish.
Who can attend a NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group?
Support groups are open to all adults with mental illness, regardless of diagnosis. Participants should feel welcome to drop by and share feelings, difficulties, or successes.
