NMCAL is celebrating its first full year as New Mexico’s statewide crisis and access line. NMCAL professional counselors have Master’s Degree or above credentials; are licensed, or on the path to licensure. They answer calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and assess and provide support for behavioral health crises and access to services.
Services include support for:
- Suicidal or homicidal thoughts, risky behaviors
- Substance abuse, domestic violence
- Depression, anxiety, anger, concern for someone else
NMCAL is a bilingual hotline staffed 24/7. This means your call will be answered by a mental health professional anytime you call.
