Mayoral Candidates Address Behavioral Health Issues in Santa Fe
On January 17, 2017, Santa Fe Safe (The Coordinated Community Response Council) and NAMI Santa Fe (The National Alliance on Mental Illness) sponsored the ‘First Behavioral Health Mayoral Forum’. All five candidates attended: Kate Noble, Alan Webber, Peter N. Ives, Ronald S. Trujillo, and Joseph M. Maestas.
Candidates answered questions about how they would lead the city to better address such citizen challenges as mental illness, substance abuse, domestic violence and homelessness. Over 100 people turned out at the new NAMI office to hear them discuss their vision for a healthier Santa Fe.
